quick and easy way to fix vape coils

Burnt vape flavours can put a damper on all vape users existence. When your coil burns out or isn’t working the way it should, it creates burnt flavour that literally leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Sometimes the coil may be faulty, but the most common cause of a burnt coil is improper usage.

A few of the most common ways to burn out a coil include:

  • Not priming the coil
  • Dry hits
  • Chain vaping

How to Prevent Burnt Coils

Before you install a fresh coil, you have to prime it first. This allows the wicking to become saturated and prepare it for use in the vape tank. Your coil should have some openings in the metal that reveal the wicking underneath. Drop some of your e-liquid into these openings, repeating at least once.

Your primed coil will still need time to become fully saturated before you can start vaping. Fill your tank with your delicious e-liquid and let your coil soak in the vape juice for ten minutes or more.

Always ensure your tank has enough vape juice in it. Vaping on an empty tank will burn out your coil and produce nasty, dry hits. Even if your tank has enough e-liquid in it, don’t chain vape! Unlike cigarettes, you must space your puffs at least 20 seconds apart to allow your wick to soak up more e-liquid.

Sometimes you can fix a burnt out coil by cleaning it. Cleaning your coil can also extend its lifespan!

How to Clean Vape Coils

  1. Remove your coils from your e-cigarette and hold them under running water for a minute or two.
  2. Soak the coil in a bowl of warm water.
  3. If your coil doesn’t seem clean after a long soak, you can try adding some vinegar to the water to loosen the residue. Be sure to soak your coil in hot water again to clean off the vinegar.
  4. Leave to air dry.
  5. Once it’s fully dried, prime your coil and put it back in the vape pen!

This should help make your vapour taste better and lengthen the lifespan of your coil. When you need to replace it with a fresh coil, you can find affordable vape coils for sale from The Vape Guru. Visit our shop today to buy cheap vape coils online in the UK.
